2025 Year in Review

2025 was a bit of a wild ride for us, but we have so much to be grateful for! Here’s a look at some of our numbers for our 40th anniversary year.

• 287,933 lbs. of food, hygiene and pet food distributed
• On average we distributed 18.8 lbs per individual served, 2,833 lbs per open day, and 23,994 lbs per month.
• We served 15,348 “duplicated individuals” over the course of 5,887 visits, or around 2.6 people got food for every food shelf visit. We averaged 491 visits per month. That’s 1,184 more individuals helped than in 2024, and 570 more visits.
• 30% of the individuals served in 2025 were children under age 18, and 14% were seniors 65 years and up.
• 1,835 unique individuals in 680 unique households were served over the course of the year.
• 40% of those households were new in 2025.
• 35% percent of households contained one person, and 22% contained two people.
• 24% of households only used the food shelf once in 2025.
• An additional 25% only used the food shelf twice or three times in 2025.
• July was our busiest month in 2025, with a record-setting 572 visits and 30,822 lbs distributed
• Food costs averaged .30 cents a pound, or $5.75 per individual served and $14.98 per visit, down from 2024 in spite of overall rising food costs, mostly due to careful focusing on nutritional priorities and LFPA grant funding that allowed us to purchase high-quality local proteins at no cost.
